This is when we went in 2004 to do a humanitarian project working in the city of Bucharest Romania for an Orphanage named "Pinocchio". There were approximately 180 abandoned kids that lived there. We had a great experience working in the orphanage painting the 20 large rooms that 20 kids slept in each. It was a lot of work and quite emotional for us t be around all these loving kids that had no parents to guide and teach them. We have fond memories of that trip.
oh mom! You are wonderful! hahah! I love that used this photo too! I think its pretty awesome that you guys are going again! I am SOOOOO jealous I cant go! Love you!
We are a group of kids that were adopted from Romania over 18 years ago and we are returning back to our birth country to do Humanitarian Work for the abandoned street kids and orphans.
This is an introduction to the Natalia Foundation and a special group of young people who have chosen it as a vehicle to allow them to do much needed humanitarian work in Romania. The Natalia Foundation is an all volunteer non-profit organization with no paid officers or employees. All donations go directly to benefit the children. They work with many organizations to identify specific projects and the coordinate donations of clothing, blankets, cash, material and volunteer labor to finish those projects.
This September there will be 12 volunteers that are going to Romania to work on a project of painting and repairing walls in an orphanage. These kids are unique because they are Romanian born and were adopted in the U.S.A. 18 years ago! They hope to go back after all these years, to the country where they were born and make a difference in some of the children left behind that were not adopted. They are calling this project "RETURN TO OUR ROOTS" please send your donations to... 823 Ringdahl Circle Corona CA, 92879
